You will be able to adequately enforce the powers to which you are entitled with the legally prescribed means of coercion and permitted weapons (with the exception of firearms), to master them when performing your duties lawfully and thereby to significantly optimize intervention.

Mediation of the legal basics:
• Delimitation of justification reasons/sovereign action
• Enforcement Requirements and Provisions
• Permissible forms and means of direct coercion with legal bases
• Behavior after coercion
• Possession and use of weapons and tools (handcuffs, pepper spray, etc.) within and outside of work
Practice:
• Aids of physical violence, e.g. B. Handcuffs
• Handling the irritant spray device
• Tactical deployment behavior according to the principles of self-protection

Prison service employees who are to be authorized to use direct force or who have to attend the refresher course.

Hints:
Please bring the Basic Law and the police law that applies to you (HSOG, PolG, POG) with you. For the practice days, please wear your uniform, suitable gloves or disposable gloves and please bring your belt and holster and, if possible, your sprayer including 2 practice cartridges (otherwise there are "loan devices") and sufficient food.
